After reading this shiz today, the warm fuzzy I’d been feeling for the past eight days dipped back down into the simmering rage I’ve become so accustomed to these past 7 years.
Put aside the fact that the anti-woman, anti-choice, pro-slipping-into-poverty-by-being-forced-to-start-a-family-you-can’t-afford, pro-destroying-your-wellbeing-and-that-of-your-child-by-openly-resenting-your-post-fetal-entity-for-the-rest-of-its-life crowd seem to think that women are lining up around the block for recreational abortions and popping Plan B like tictacs.
Put aside the fact that theists, christofacists & their ilk always leap like a gazelle over the more inconvenient passages of the Wholey Writ.
Is enacting a law to allow medical professionals to refuse to sell or dispense medications with which they don’t morally agree a slippery slope down which we, as a state, want to slide? What’s next? Should the Scientologist pharmacist be able to withhold a schizophrenic’s anti-psychotic medication and instead suggest an “audit” and a “clearing of body thetans?” Should the pharmacist toying with a conversion to Christian Science refuse to fill a scrip for high blood pressure and instead attempt to aggressively pray the hypertension away? At what point do we stop kowtowing to every high-on-religion cult with an agenda give science and reason and compassion for the vessel of the Holy Clump of Cells a try?
Now if you’ll excuse me I need to fix another glass of my medicine, which my local pharmacist is always willing to provide.

Dude. What the #@!§&$%*€+±=”/. You said it beautifully. And I resent the ever-living-$%&* out of being considered a vessel or, even more precious, “pre-pregnant.”
With any luck, the current pack of pro-lie lunatics are “pre-unemployed.”
Enjoy your medicine, darling.
