Kansas City, opinion, cocktails, snark.

Now Time Warner’s just #$%@ing with me.

Shortly after nearly pushing my fragile little mind over the brink by moving MSNBC (Rachel, where are you?) from 56 to 28, Time Warner jacked me again today with a software upgrade to the cable Guide & DVR features.

Most of my scheduled recordings were deleted. The few that remained were sufficiently screwed, so that instead of recording only new episodes of shows, they picked up every rerun on every channel. I came home to a DVR full of “Stargate: Atlantis” & “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” & “Rock of Love 2.”

Don’t you judge me.

I’ve got it half-ass sorted out now downstairs, I think, but the upstairs DVR (again with the judging) is still hosed.

This, obviously, was the most important thing that happened in Kansas City today, as it affected me. Me.

Me.

  1. Yes, it happened to me too. I was pissed to see BBC America moved, again and now I can’t get it. MSNBC is now in it’s place. TIME WARNER CABLE SUCKS! To find the positive, the color is nice, if you like blue.

  2. Aw, spooneb, I’m so sorry for you.

Why not go take your dogs for a walk?

  3. Thank you so much for this post. Cliff and I have been hissing “Don’t you judge me” at each other (then giggling manically) for a couple of days now.
