Another reason to love the season.

I’m not much of a beer drinker; I’d rather enjoy a smart cocktail. When I do drink beer, it really betrays my roots as a Midwestern farm kid as I tend to enjoy most the beers that can be easily acquired in any Casey’s General Store, basically Bud Light & Miller Chill.

But every autumn, the good folks at Boulevard bring out their best offering, Bob’s ’47. It’s in stores now. Pierpont’s has it on tap and Tower Tavern will soon. Cheers!

  1. Have you tried their ZON wheat? They may have stopped selling it already — it’s supposed to be a summer-only wheat.

It’s great. I love the orange zest and coriander overtones. Prost!
